Talented teenager Dujuan Richards has returned to the football pitch with his England-based club Chelsea after a lengthy layoff following surgery done to repair a damaged ACL.
Craig Butler, agent of the former Kingston College Manning Cup player, stated that Richards is more than excited to resume his football career.
Prior to his injury, Richards featured in ten matches for Chelsea’s under-21 team scoring seven goals, whilst assisting on three occasions.
Butler revealed that the now 19-year-old has shown in training that he’s gotten better, post surgery.
Internationally, Richards has so far garnered ten caps for the Reggae Boyz.
The Steve McLaren-coached team will resume battle in September as they go in search of qualification to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
According to Butler, the Reggae Boyz should use the services of Richards who he believes will add to the depth of the squad.
