Though the lights and sound went out five minutes into his set, veteran artiste Richie Spice was steadfast in delivering his message to the crowd.
With an audible groan from the crowd as the Plantation Cove went dark, Spice launched into a nearly inaudible version of his hit song Earth a Run Red with the crowd belting the chorus.
The approval of the audience sounded through vuvuzelas and cheers six minutes later when the lights and sound were restored.
The reason for the technical difficulties is unclear.
