AFTER clocking the second-fastest mile at Caymanas Park to score a runaway victory in last year’s Mouttet Mile, United States-bred RIDEALLDAY did the unthinkable last Monday morning, almost shattering the seven-furlong track record in preparation for Monday’s Ian Levy Cup at eight and a half furlongs. Galloping seven furlongs out the mile chute on a track made fast by rain at the weekend, RIDEALLDAY posted 1:23.3, four-fifths off Eros’ 1:22.4 set September 24, 1991, back in the days before the track was resurfaced and significantly upgraded.
