Robbery at Mose Supermarket Foiled by Community

And finally, to round out the crime -filled weekend, police responded to a robbery which was foiled at Mose Supermarket in Corozal.

Assistant Superintendent of Police, Stacy Smith: “ As a result of their investigation, they have detained one Ryan Delgado, 29 years of age,  and have recovered a khaki in color Crossman brand air pistol which is  at this time deposited as exhibit.”

Unconfirmed reports are that the owners and some citizens put a “good beating” on the robber but police are not confirming it occurred although, ASP Smith said that he has visible injuries upon being taken into custody.
