Jamaica Labour Party, JLP, deputy leader, James Robertson, says People’s National Party, PNP, president, Mark Golding, owes the people of Jamaica an apology for what he says is a series of disrespectful remarks and stunts.

Robertson says Golding has yet to apologise for a 2023 gimmick in which he held a chain around the neck of a black man in his South St. Andrew constituency, before symbolically unlocking the restraint and freeing him from bondage.

Speaking Sunday at a gospel concert hosted by the JLP’s Area Council Two in St. Catherine, Robertson said the PNP president also owes the country an apology for referring to JLP chairman Robert Montague as a ‘likkle bwoy’.
