Romeich meets with Kingston Mayor to discuss entertainment and recovery efforts

Romeich Major recently met with the Mayor of Kingston and St. Andrew, Andrew Swaby.

According to Romeich, the discussion focused on the importance of the entertainment industry to Jamaica’s economy, especially as the country works to recover from the impact of Hurricane Melissa. They also explored upcoming events for the capital city, including preparations for this year’s Kingston Tree Lighting Ceremony.

On Instagram, Romeich shared a photo from the meeting along with this caption:

“Such a lovely meeting with our Mayor of Kingston and St. Andrew. The entertainment industry is of paramount importance to the economy as it’s a viable means of income for many. Hurricane Melissa has placed a damper on Jamaica at large but although extremely difficult I encourage persons who are able to go back to normalcy as soon as possible as our economy and the persons most affected can be assisted through our continued efforts.

The Mayor and I shared some great ideas for upcoming events in Kgn and this year’s Kingston Tree lighting ceremony. Let us light up the city to help Jamaica get back on its feet.”
