The rural school bus service is on track for full roll-out in the upcoming school year, set to start next week.
That’s according to Transport Minister, Daryl Vaz.
The buses were put through a series of road and route tests during the summer .
According to the transport ministry, this was in an effort to to remedy any issues which arose before the September launch.
In Saturday’s social issues debate, the PNP’s Damion Crawford said a future PNP administration will scrap the JLP’s rural school bus service in its current form.
Vaz says the PNP will pay for that comment on election day.
