Multiple award-winning Jamaican producer, Rvssian is mourning the loss of his brother. The producer confirmed this in a statement that he posted on Monday, July 28.
In a lengthy statement, he stated, “Yesterday I found out that my brother
suddenly passed away. It’s been hard to process, and I’m still trying to come to terms with it. This is a very difficult time for me and my family. I may be quiet on social media for a while as I take time to deal with everything.”
It continues, “I will try to finish the delivery of “Story Book Riddim” with the help of my team. It’s something I started before all of this happened, and even though things are heavy right now, I will do my best to complete it — out of respect for the artists who gave their time and energy to be part of it. Thank you for your love and support.”
In the aftermath of the news, fans and members from the music fraternity have expressed their condolences and support for Rvssian during his time of grief.
Dancehall Legend and known close friend of the producer, Vybz Kartel shared a post on his Instagram with some words for Rvssian in the aftermath of the tragic news.
“Condolences my Brother, I wish you strength and courage.”
