President of the Jamaica Sambo and Combat Sambo Federation, Daniel Chacko-Wilmott, described their recent participation at the Pan American Sambo Games as a learning experience.
Jamaica sent two fighters, Damar Haslam and Matthew Colquhoun.
Haslam fought in the Combat Samba 71kg category, while Colquhoun had to move up to 98kg division.
Chacko-Wilmott says it was a testing tour for the two fighters.
