Coach of the West Indies, Darren Sammy, is again bemoaning the inconsistency of his players following their 133-run loss against Australia in the second Test in Grenada on Sunday.
The win gave the Aussies an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.
Chasing 277 to win the Windies were bowled out for 143 in their second innings. Captain Roston Chase made 34 and Shamar Joseph scored 24.
Mitchel Starc and Nathan Lyon picked up three wickets each, while Josh Hazlewood took two.
Batting a second time, the tourists made 243. Cameron Green made 52, and Steve Smith 71. Shamar Joseph took four wickets.
Final scores, Australia 286 and 243, West Indies 253 and 143.
Sammy says the players could have been more disciplined.
He says the bowlers cannot be faulted for the team’s defeat.
