Sammy Blames Bowlers for WI Defeat in 3rd T20 vs England

Coach of the West Indies, Darren Sammy, says the blame must be put squarely at the feet of the bowlers for Tuesday’s defeat to England in the third and final T20 International at the Rose Bowl in Southampton.

The Windies surrendered the series 3-0 following the 37-run defeat, giving England a sweep in both series.

The team travels to Ireland on Wednesday for the first of three T20 Internationals which bowls off on Thursday.

Sammy says the players need to trust their abilities if they are to turn around their fortunes.
