Jamaica Labour Party, JLP, candidate for North East St. Ann, Matthew Samuda, has been outlining his plans for the constituency, if he’s elected as MP come September 30.
The 39-year-old says he intends to build a centre for human development which he plans to name in honour of late former MP for North East St. Ann, Shahine Robinson.
Samuda is seeking to become only the fourth person from the JLP to lead the constituency since the 1959 general election.
He says if elected, he’ll prioritise land titling, road rehabilitation, job opportunities and improving education outcomes for his constituents.
