Santa Theresa Road to Close for Culvert Replacement Next Week

Residents and motorists in the Santa Theresa area of the Toledo District are being advised of a temporary road closure next week as infrastructure works are being carried out. The Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing has announced that the SantaTheresa Road will be closed from Tuesday, July 14, to Friday, July 17, 2026, to facilitate the replacement of a major culvert located within the village. According to the Ministry, the culvert has partially collapsed, requiring replacement works to address the issue and ensure the continued safety and accessibility of the roadway for residents and road users. During the closure period, motorists traveling in the area are advised to use the Mabilha-San Felipe Road as an alternative route while the works are being completed. The Ministry says the temporary closure is necessary to allow crews to carry out the repairs safely and efficiently and is urging the public to exercise patience and plan their travel accordingly. The Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing has also apologized for any inconvenience caused and thanked residents and commuters for their cooperation as the necessary improvements are made to the road infrastructure.
