Scorpion’s John Campbell 3rd Top Scorer in WI Championship

Captain of the Jamaica Scorpions, John Campbell, with 299 runs is the third highest scorer after three rounds of the West Indies four day Championship.

Campbell hit 79 in the first round. He followed that up with 126 and 53 in round two despite the Scorpions losing by five wickets against the Leeward Islands.

The 31-year-old was less productive in the third round scoring just 16 and 25.

Meanwhile, Trinidad and Tobago Red Force’s Jason Mohammed is the top run scorer so far. Mohammed has so far scored 483 runs.

Jonathan Drakes of the Barbados Pride sits second with 373 runs and his captain Kraigg Brathwaite fourth with 290.

The Red Force’s Khary Pierre leads the bowling with 26 wickets ahead of Leeward Islands Hurricanes all rounder Rahkeem Cornwall with 17.

Round four bowls off on March 5.
