Jordan Scott continues to have a fantastic breakout season, on Friday he logged his third Wanda Diamond League win of the year in the men’s Triple Jump in Paris.
The former Campion College standout posted 17.27 meters to win and he’s now the outright leader of the event in this season’s Diamond League.
The other Jamaican in action at the meet Ackera Nugent had to settle for third in the 100m hurdles in 12.30 seconds, she was beaten by the inform American Grace Stark who won in 12.21 seconds, while the reigning world record holder Tobi Amusan was second in a season best 12.24 seconds.
America’s Olympic champion Rai Benjamin ran a meet record to win the men’s 400m hurdles in 46.93 seconds.
The next stop on the Diamond League circuit will be July 5 in Eugene Oregon .
