Jordan Scott and Shanieka Ricketts were among the medallists at the Oslo Meeting in Norway, the 6th stop on the Wanda Diamond League Circuit, on Thursday.
Scott won the men’s triple jump with 17.34 metres.
He finished ahead of Paris Olympics silver medallist Pedro Pichardo of Portugal 17.06 metres.
Meanwhile, Ricketts failed to secure a third straight win in the women’s triple jump finishing second with 14.57 metres.
Her compatriot Ackelia Smith was 6th with 14.26 metres.
Paris Olympic 100 metres champion Julian Alfred of St. Lucia did the Caribbean proud winning the event in 10-point-89 seconds.
Norwegian star Karsten Warholm posted a world record 32.67 seconds to win the rarely-run men’s 300 metres hurdles.
