Second Bank Burglary in Two Months Hits Dangriga

Dangriga witnessed its second bank burglary in less than two months this morning. At approximately 3:30 police responded to an alarm activation at the Dangriga branch of Belize Bank. According to ASP Smith, officers who arrived at the Ecumenical Drive location noted evidence of a forced entry at the building’s rear. A preliminary inspection of the interior indicated the premises had been ransacked. ASP Smith weighed in on the burglary and the response of the Dangriga Police.

 The investigation into the incident remains ongoing with no one detained.
