Second Man Charged in Crooked Tree Armed Robbery

A second man has been charged in connection with an armed robbery at a business in Crooked Tree earlier this month.  Eighteen-year-old Tyler Dominguez appeared before a Senior Magistrate in Belize City on Wednesday and was charged with robbery. Police allege that he, Tafaree Sanchez and others robbed businessman Jian Jue Shi on September 2 while armed with a firearm. The cash and items taken, including three phones, bottles of rum and vehicle keys, were valued at more than eight thousand dollars.  Dominguez was remanded to the Belize Central Prison. Sanchez, who was charged earlier this month in connection with the same robbery, is also on remand.
