Government senator, Sherene Golding Campbell, has warned voters not to gamble with their children’s future in the upcoming general elections.
The senator issued the warning while addressing a Jamaica Labour Party, JLP, rally in West Kingston on Sunday.
She appealed to voters to remember their children when it’s time to vote.
Golding Campbell is the daughter of former prime minister and JLP Leader, Bruce Golding.
She told the Labourites in West Kingston that she does not normally speak on political platforms out of shyness, but said she decided that this election must be different.
Golding Campbell outlined what she says was the Holness administration’s successes on crime, the economy, infrastructure and the management of the Covid-19 pandemic. She says those achievements deserve a third term.
The Senator described the opposition People’s National Party as unserious and unprepared for office.
