Several athletes produce personal-best times on final day of Carifta Trials

Holland High School’s Shanoya Douglas registered her second personal-best time of the meet on yesterday’s final day of competition at the Carifta Trials inside the National Stadium. On a day when several athletes produced personal-best times in multiple events, Douglas won the under-20 girls’ 200 metres in 22.58 seconds to complete the sprint double. On the first day of the three-day meet last Friday, Douglas scorched the track in 11.06 seconds over the 100m to register a career-best time over that distance.
