President of Cricket West Indies, Dr. Kishore Shallow, will be returned on March 29 to serve a second term at the helm of the regional body after he was nominated unopposed ahead of the next annual general meeting at voting congress.
Dr. Shallow was nominated by the Trinidad and Tobago and Leeward Islands cricket boards.
This marks the second time Dr. Shallow has been nominated for the post unopposed.
Dr. Shallow’s vice-president Azim Bassarath will also return for another term, he too was nominated unopposed after securing the backing of the Jamaica and Windward Islands cricket boards.
The pair will become the first to serve a three year term in charge following the approval of a landmark set of governance reforms aimed at modernising the organisation.
The reforms were approved at a special meeting of Members of Cricket West Indies Inc. on Sunday, February 9, 2025.
Among the most significant changes was the introduction of term limits for the positions of president and vice-president, restricting them to a maximum of three terms of three years each.
