Shaw close to signing new contract with City

MANCHESTER, England (CMC): Jamaican international Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw is reportedly close to signing a new contract with Manchester City in the Women’s Super League (WSL). Amidst reports that defending WSL champions Chelsea were planning on pursuing the 29-year-old forward at the end of the season, it is reported that talks between Shaw and City have been “progressing positively” in recent weeks. Shaw is City’s all-time leading goal-scorer and the current top goal-scorer in the 2026 WSL with 15 goals from 16 matches and has also provided four assists.
