Shaw wins second Football Writers’ Women’s Player of Year award

Jamaican international Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw has won the 2026 Football Writers’ Association Women’s Footballer of the Year award for the second time.
   The 29-year-old Shaw is set to secure a third successive Women’s Super League (WSL) Golden Boot having scored 19 goals in 21 appearances this season for newly crowned champions Manchester City, with one league game remaining.
