Unlike many recently released riddim jugglings that feature artistes from solely one genre, the Red Fyah riddim is breaking away from the norm with a fusion of Dancehall and Reggae artistes.
The brainchild of producer Slyda Di Wizard and serial entrepreneur Romeich Major, the Red Fyah riddim is a groovy and vibrant Reggae beat, which was released in May. The Red Fyah riddim not only highlights well-established artistes like Chronic Law, Alaine, Shenseea, and Romain Virgo but also shines a spotlight on up-and-coming artistes who have not yet found their breakout hit.

With a total of 12 tracks, the songs featured on Red Fyah cover a range of topics, including a Gospel single. Dancehall star Shenseea is featured on the only collaborative single on the riddim, with the Blessed singer teaming up with Nasri, the lead singer of the Canadian Reggae fusion band Magic.
Both artistes appear on track one on the Red Fyah riddim, I’ll Be Fire, a love song which embodies a man’s devotion to his partner. Chronic Law appears on track 2, Loveless, and the deejay explores topics such as loyalty and distrust in both friendships and romantic relationships.
Romain Virgo, known for his emotive storytelling, appears on track 3, Two Faced, which criticises hypocrisy and disloyalty. Track 4, You Are The One, features Vanessa Bling, with the singjay belting out her emotions on the Reggae love song.
Nigy Boy, Stalk Ashley, and Alaine are featured on 8 Wonders, All We Need Is Love, and Answer, respectively. Though the artistes have their distinctive vocals, all three highlight love in their individual songs.
Tracks 8 to 12, Empty Words, Show Love, Pain, Love Yourself, and Rest in Happyness, feature newcomers Monifa Goss, Lavish, Trophics Burke, Sirhyn, and Ferno. Young recording artistes are often excluded from big jugglings, and according to Romeich, he wants to dispel the notion of popular producers not recording new artistes.
As such, a competition was held prior to the riddim’s rollout to give emerging artistes a chance to shine among their more experienced peers. Music videos for Alaine’s Answer and Nigy Boy’s 8 Wonders were released within the past 7 days, and fans can look out for more to come, as each song is expected to get its own visuals.
