Shericka Jackson makes 200m return after a year

Jamaican sprinter Shericka Jackson made her first competitive appearance in the women’s 200 metres since July last year as she returned to the half-lap event with a comfortable 22.79-second clocking at the Xiamen Diamond League in China earlier today.

Jackson crossed the line second as Anavia Battle of the United States took the win in a meet record 22.41 seconds.

Jenna Prandini, also of the United States, rounded off the top three as she crossed the line in 22.97 seconds.
