Shyne Announces 26-City North American Tour

Belizean rapper and politician Moses “Shyne” Barrow is returning to the road this fall for a 26-city tour across the United States and Canada. The “2622 LGND Tour” will bring together hip-hop, reggae and R&B, with Jamaican reggae veteran Barrington Levy and rapper Lil Cease joining Shyne as special guests. DJ Rampage and Stig Da Artist are also featured on the tour poster, while Shyne says additional surprise appearances are planned.  The tour opens in Denver, Colorado, on October 21 and makes stops in cities including Austin, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Toronto, Atlanta, Chicago, Philadelphia and New Orleans. It ends in Miami, Florida, on December 5.  Shyne rose to prominence in the late 1990s and released his platinum-selling debut album, Shyne, in 2000. His second album, Godfather Buried Alive, followed in 2004 and was certified gold. Interest in his life and career was renewed with the 2024 Hulu documentary The Honorable Shyne. The film traces his journey from Brooklyn rap star to imprisonment, his return to Belize and his entry into national politics. Tickets for the tour are scheduled to go on sale on Friday, July 31. Confirmed listings include Denver on October 21, Austin on October 23, Toronto on November 4 and Detroit on November 12.
