Shyne Honored by US Congress for Music and Political Legacy

The rapper-turned-statesman served as Leader of the Opposition and previously as Leader of the United Democratic Party, making him one of the few global hip-hop artists to transition into national political leadership.  He is perhaps the only Belizean politician to ever receive a US Congressional Proclamation.  Just last month, Barrow was presented the proclamation by the U.S. Leader of the House of Representatives, Hakeem Jeffries, in honor of the 25th Anniversary of the Shyne Album and his dual legacy in Music and Governance.
