Jamaican swimmer, Skyelar Richards, was in action for Swim Atlanta at the recent 2025 Betsy Dunbar meet in the United States.
Richards, who was born in the USA and is eligible to represent Jamaica through her father, first competed for the country at the 2024 Carifta Championships.
She was the top 15-16 girl in the 100-metres freestyle with a new personal best time of 59.60 seconds.
Richards credits a clean technique for her current good form.

Richards was the best in the age group in the 50-metre freestyle in 27-point-02 metres She also topped the age group in the 100-metres backstroke in 1:11.64.
For the 200-metres individual medley and 100 metre butterfly, she was 10th and 13th in her age division with times of 2:44.65 and 1:13.27 respectively.
