Soca Massive, Soca Moca Crowned 2026 Belize Carnival Champions

Soca Massive and Soca Moca Carnival Bands emerged as the junior and senior champions of the 2026 Belize Carnival Road March held this weekend in Belize City.  Soca Massive captured the junior title with six hundred and two points, finishing ahead of Collet Royals with five hundred and eighty-two points. Black Pearl Carnival Band placed third with four hundred and ninety-three points.  Sunshine Masqueraders and Rhythm Rockers received four hundred and eighty-eight and four hundred and eleven points, respectively, but were disqualified for failing to display numbers as required.  In the senior category, Soca Moca claimed the championship with six hundred and twenty-eight points, edging out Mother Nature Creations, which earned six hundred and five points. Fort Street Revelers and Trench Town Masqueraders were also disqualified for not displaying numbers during the competition.  The results follow the King and Queen Competition held on August 16. In that event, Collet Royals won Junior Queen, while Soca Massive captured Junior King. Mother Nature Creations dominated the senior division by winning both the Senior Queen and Senior King titles.  Saturday’s road march featured competing and non-competing bands, marching bands, floats and other participants.
