After a successful tour of the Caribbean, South Africa departed from St. Lucia beaming with pride.
The South Africans won the three match One-Day International series 2-0. They also won both games in the four day series – winning game-one by an innings and 88 runs, before take game two by seven wickets.
Captain Marques Ackerman says they were able to accomplish their goals.
Ackerman says the selectors made the right decision.
He scored 266 in three innings, including a double century in the first match.
Ackerman believes he’s on course for his maiden call-up to the senior Test squad.
