Special needs kids in Orange Walk have been enjoying a summer camp just for them this week, which was hosted by Special Olympics Belize. The summer camp gathered the children and their families at the People’s Stadium to engage in sporting events, arts and crafts, and other activities for them to come together and celebrate their uniqueness. Rodvern Lino, National Director for Special Olympics Belize says that more than 80 children have benefited from the camps thus far, and the hope is to engage around 200 by the end of summer.
