Speedy Of A Resolution to start the year right for Nunes

Bruceontheloose Sprint winner, Florida-invader OF A REVOLUTION, opens Anthony Nunes’ 2026 title bid in Thursday’s Miracle Man Cup at seven furlongs among open-allowance runners, a level lower than the grade-one event he won when debuting locally on Mouttet Mile Day.

DESERT OF MALIBU’s attempted suicide against LEGACY ISLE in Saturday’s Chris Armond Memorial leaves the Miracle Man at the mercy of the seven-year-old foreigner, absolutely no matching speed to take him off his bridle.

Prepping for the December 6 Bruceontheloose, OF A REVOLUTION had blazed 58.3 from the gate, out the straight, two Saturdays prior, the first four furlongs in 45.1. A week before the event, he clocked 1:06.2 for five and a half furlongs.

Sired by Maclean’s Music out of the Salt Lake mare Hot Spell, OF A REVOLUTION has won at Charles Town, Gulfstream Park, Keeneland, Monmouth Park, Oaklawn Park and Parx Racing, achieving his highest speed rating, 126, after placing third in the six-furlong Gallant Bob (Grade Two) at Parx in September 2022.

OF A REVOLUTION clocked 1:16.4 for six and a half furlongs, winning on dirt at Gulfstream Park. In June, he placed third behind 1:10.0 for six furlongs at the South Florida racetrack.

After clocking 1:19.2 to beat MONEY MARKET in the Bruceontheloose, OF A REVOLUTION needs no further introduction, more so down in class among open-allowance runners.
