Sri Lanka’s Nisanka Scores 4th Test Century in Bangladesh Match

Pathum Nisanka carted his fourth Test century and it was a big one, not out 146 as host Sri Lanka took a huge advantage with them at close on day two of their first Test against Bangladesh in Colombo.

When stumps were drawn to end the second day the Sri Lankans were 290 for 2 replying to Bangladesh’s 247 all out, a lead of 43 runs.

Nissanka who has so far slammed 18 fours in a 284 ball knock, also starred in a second wicket stand of 194 with Dinesh Chandimal who fell just seven runs short of a 17th test hundred.

Earlier, Bangladesh who resumed on 220 for 8, added just 27 to their overnight total to be dismissed for 247.
