St Ann Orchids Win Second Game in Elite Netball League

St. Ann Orchids registered back-to-back wins following their 44-32 victory over the Under-21 Shiners in the Red Stripe Flavours Netball Jamaica Elite League at the Stadium Courts, on Sunday.

Sunday’s triumph followed their 66-31 win against St. Catherine Racers in their opening encounter, on Friday.

Coach of the Orchids, Kirk Dale, expected his players to start the season strong.

Despite their dominance of the Racers and Shiners, Dale says his still not at their best.

Dale says there is still room for improvement.

Meanwhile, in a repeat of last year’s final, champions Manchester Spurs defeated the Racers 57-43.
