St. Mary Technical’s Kenrick Sharpe posted the fastest time going into Friday’s final of the class-1 boys 100-metres at the Eastern Championships at Stadium East.
Sharpe posted 10.81 seconds in winning heat-3, with Tenny Daley second in 10.88 seconds and Tejan Blackettthird in 10.92 seconds.
Dujuan Grant of Port Antonio High 11.33 seconds is the fastest qualifier going into the final of the class-2 boys 100-metres.
He’s followed by Khaheim Bennett of St. Mary Technical 11.65 seconds, and Kevaughn Gordon of St. Mary High 11.74 seconds.
Kaliesha Bell of St. Mary High 12.58 seconds is the quickest in the girl’s race, followed by Gezerah Saunders of Marymount 12.73 seconds and Janiella Dawson of Happy Grove 13.16 seconds.
