Coach of St Peter and Paul, Jerome Kirby, expected tougher competition at the JISA Prep Schools Athletics Championship which ended at the National Stadium, on the weekend.
The Old Hope Road-based school won by 38 points to retain the title.
They amassed 220 points and were well clear of Vaz Prep in second on 182, Mona Prep with 125, finished in third spot.
Kirby anticipated a greater challenge from Vaz.
He says his class three and four athletes separated them from their opponents.
