Stick Figure’s Free Flow Sessions Scores the Highest Reggae Album Debut of 2025 — But Marley Holds the Throne

Stick Figure has delivered the biggest reggae album debut of 2025 with Free Flow Sessions, which blasts onto the Billboard Reggae Albums chart at No. 2.

The album released on November 14, enters with the strongest first-week sales and streams of any reggae release this year, with over 3,526,490 Spotify streams globally.

Free Flow Sessions also opens at No. 41 on the Billboard Album Sales Chart, but despite its strong performance, the project did not generate enough combined sales and streams to enter the Billboard 200. It also falls short of replicating the group’s groundbreaking 2022 moment with Wisdom, which famously dethroned Bob Marley & The Wailers’ Legend from the No. 1 spot—a rare achievement in recent reggae chart history.

Legend, now in its 307th week, remains unmoved, holding firmly to its dominant position at the top.

Six albums are now running more than 250 weeks—some surpassing 300 on the chart this week.

Just behind the top two, Shaggy’s Best of Shaggy: The Boombastic Collection continues its extraordinary run, clocking 337 weeks on the chart while holding a position inside the Top 3. Following that is Sean Paul’s Dutty Classics Collection, which remains a perennial force at over 254 weeks deep into its chart life.

Stick Figure’s own catalog continues to shape the rankings as well: World on Fire, one of the band’s signature releases, extends its dominance to an astonishing 325 weeks, while their earlier album Set in Stone pushes even further with 384 weeks—making it one of the longest-running reggae albums on the chart in modern history. Their album Wisdom, which famously topped Legend in a previous cycle, also maintains a powerful presence with 166 weeks on the tally.

Legacy reggae continues to show unmatched staying power too. UB40’s Greatest Hits posts a remarkable 366 weeks, proving the group’s timeless appeal. Meanwhile, Bob Marley & The Wailers’ Exodus, re-entering the Top 10, logs 111 weeks, reinforcing Marley’s multidimensional dominance across both the current and catalog charts.
