The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) Combined Index closed Thursday, losing more ground.

The moderate trading ended with an advance/decline ratio of 40/50

The JSE Combined Index declined by 991.35 points or 0.30 per cent to close at 332,385.19.

The JSE Main Market Index declined by 1,306.80 points or 0.41 per cent to close at 319,222.85 points while the Junior Market Index advanced by 26.75 points or 0.71 per cent to close at 3,768.57.

The JSE USD Equities Index declined by 2.67 points or 1.11 per cent to close at 238.16.

MFS Capital up 23.50 per cent to close at $2.47.

Margaritaville Turks USD, up 23.02 per cent to close at US$0.124.

Margaritaville Turks, up 17.20 per cent to close at $17.58.

AMG Packaging, up 16.95 per cent to close at $2.76.

Purity, up 15.18 per cent to close at $2.20.

Losers

Indies Pharma, down 7.33 per cent to close at $2.78.

MPC Caribbean USD, down 6.21 per cent closing at US$0.544.

JSE, down 6.02 per cent to close at $10.14.

Palace Amusement, down 5.80 per cent to close at $1.30.

138 Student Living, down 5.74 per cent closing at $3.94.

Market volume

24 million units valued at over $52.34 million.

Volume leaders were: Wigton, followed by Derrimon and MFS Capital.
