Stocks Round Up JSE ends week on a winning note

The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) Combined Index closed on Friday on a winning note.

Moderate trading ended with an advance/decline ratio of 37/44.

The JSE Combined Index advanced by 1,443.05 points, or 0.39 per cent, to close at 372,996.72.

The JSE Main Market Index advanced by 1,744.70 points, or 0.49 39 per cent, to close at 358,760.10, while the Junior Market Index declined by 20.58 points, or 0.49 39 per cent, to close at 4,175.89.

The JSE USD Equities Index advanced by 1.25 points, or 0.56 39 per cent, to close at 222.51.

Sagicor Select-Financial, up 9.52 per cent to close at $0.46.

Derrimon Trading, up 4.57 per cent to close at $2.29.

Losers

JMMB Group 7.00%VR JMD Cr Prefs, down 19.03 per cent closing at $2.00

ISP Finance, down 15.00 per cent to close a $17.00

PBS 9.75% Cumul Redeem, down 15.00 per cent to close at $119.00.

CAC 2000 9.5% Cumul Redeem Prefs, down 14.41per cent closing at $1.01.

JMMB Group 7.25% Cumul Redeem Prefs, down 11.11 per cent to close at $1.68.

Market volume

26 million units valued at over $118 million.

Volume leaders were: Sagicor Select-Financial, followed by Derrimon and Dolla Financial .
