Stocks Round Up Some 22.5 million units traded today

The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) Combined Index lost ground on Thursday.

The moderate trading, ended with an advance/decline ratio of 59/35.

The JSE Combined Index declined by 2,157.21 points or 0.64 per cent to close at 334,118.11.

The JSE Main Market Index declined by 2,429.16 points or 0.75 per cent, to close at 320,347.77 while the Junior Market Index advanced by 11.60 points or 0.30 per cent to close at 3,846.67.

The JSE USD Equities advanced by 5.02 points or 1.99 per cent to close at 257.64.

Market volume

Some 22.5 million units valued at over $94.82 million were traded today.

Volume leaders were Transjamaican followed by Wigton and Stanley Motta.
