Over 1,000 swimmers are registered for the 2-day Mayberry High Schools/Tertiary Institutions, prep and Primary Championships at the Stadium pool, starting on Friday.
The High school and Tertiary Swimmers will compete of Friday, while the prep and Primary athletes swim on Saturday.
Immaculate Conception High are the defending Girl’s champions, with Wolmer’s holding the boys title.
Meanwhile, Hillel Academy are the title holders for both the boys and girls titles in the prep and primary schools category.
Meet director, Joseph Reynolds, says patrons will get an example of what to expect from the swimmers that will represent Jamaica at the Carifta Championships later this month.
