SUNSHINE SNACKS Jamaica is now an official sponsor of the Reggae Boyz Road to 2026 campaign, supporting the team’s journey toward FIFA 2026 World Cup qualification.

Sunshine Snacks Jamaica, a giant in the Caribbean’s snack industry, said in a release it was reinforcing its commitment to national pride through its partnership with the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF), as the Reggae Boyz face six crucial matches in their bid to qualify for the 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup.

“We welcome Sunshine Snacks Jamaica to the Reggae Boyz family at a pivotal moment in our journey,” said Michael Ricketts, president of the JFF. “Their support not only energises our campaign, but [also] puts us in a stronger position to prepare meaningfully for the road ahead.”

As part of the sponsorship agreement, Sunshine Snacks will be a major presence on home match days, celebrating the Boyz with giveaways and in-stadium engagement.

Shantell Hill Afonso, marketing manager at Sunshine Snacks Jamaica, shared her excitement: “We are honoured to partner with the Reggae Boyz on this historic campaign. As a proudly Caribbean brand, Sunshine Snacks is committed to celebrating the best of our region through sport on the global stage. Supporting the Boyz is a natural fit, just like the team, it’s our time to shine. We look forward to bringing Jamaica to the world as fans enjoy our brands on the road to World Cup 2026.”

Roy Simpson, interim general secretary of the JFF, added: “The JFF proudly welcomes Sunshine Snacks as a sponsor of the Reggae Boyz. This partnership reflects growing confidence in our national programme and reinforces our ‘Football for the People’ mission. With Sunshine Snacks’ support, we bring the game closer to every Jamaican as we push toward World Cup qualification. We thank them for backing the Reggae Boyz and the nation.”

Tanya Lee Perkins, JFF Ambassador who spearheads the organisation’s sponsorship efforts, stated, “Sunshine Snacks continues to show up for Jamaican football – from their sponsorship of the Jamaica Premier League to now backing our Boyz. We’re proud to have them on board and look forward to more exciting announcements. The budget for qualification is significant, and the support of sponsors like Sunshine Snacks makes all the difference.”

The Reggae Boyz continue their quest for FIFA World Cup qualification with six final-round matches. The will next play Bermuda at the Flora Duffy South Field Stadium on September 5 and Trinidad and Tobago on September 9 at the National Stadium.
