A supervisor, cashier, and security guard working at the KFC, Chaguanas branch, were tied up and robbed on Sunday night by three armed men who later fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police said the 38-year-old female supervisor of Chaguanas, along with a 48-year-old female cashier of Charlieville and the male security guard, were at work around 11.40 pm on August 24 when the suspects entered the establishment.

One man was armed with a gun, while another held a cutlass in his hand.

They ordered the three employees into a backroom when one of the suspects began slapping, kicking, and punching the supervisor about the body as he demanded money.

Ordering the woman to open a vault before instructing the three to lie on the floor as the suspect with the gun kept watch at the door, the other two suspects grabbed the cash out of the vault and later emptied the cash register as well before running out of the store and into a waiting car.
