In the historic Old Town of Asunción, rowing kicked off the largest competition of nations played in Paraguay.

With great excitement and in the middle of the cold Paraguayan winter morning, the boats took to the water of the Bay of Asunción for the first contest of the continental event: rowing. A total of 16 rowers, divided into the two branches, will make their debut rowing to the classification for the medals.

The other sport that opened the curtain was shooting, with its modality in Skeet 75, in a sector of the huge Paraguayan Olympic Park.

There, 16 athletes from different nations gathered to start this competition of extreme precision, while the opening ceremony of the Games took place last night at the Defensores del Chaco Stadium.
