Miss World Thailand Opal Suchata Chuangsri is the new Miss World 2025. She was crowned by last year’s winner, Krystyna Pyszková of the Czech Republic, at the 72nd Miss World competition on Saturday in Telangana, India. Ethiopia's Hasset Dereje Admassu was named first runner-up, followed by Poland's Maja Klajda as second-runner up and Miss World Martinique Aurélie Joachim in fourth.
Among those who placed in the Top 10 of the Americas and the Caribbean region was Jamaica's Tahje Bennett, who also secured a spot in the overall Top 40. Leading the region was Martinique's Aurélie Joachim, who earned the title of Miss World Americas and the Caribbean.
The moment marked the conclusion of a month-long journey across Telangana, during which 108 contestants from around the world participated in immersive cultural experiences, philanthropic challenges, and purpose-driven initiatives.
