The FIX Expands Into the United Kingdom — Shoots First of Several Episodes in London

1 week ago 3

The FIX is taking its unfiltered brand of Caribbean entertainment talk global. Earlier this week, the award-winning digital platform landed in London, England, where the team filmed the third instalment of its State of Dancehall series — featuring powerhouse guests like BBC 1Xtra’s Seani B and renowned actor and comedian White Yardie. The episode explores the state of Caribbean music and identity within Britain’s vibrant diaspora scene and marks The FIX’s official expansion into the UK market. Several additional episodes are also slated to be filmed across the United Kingdom in the days ahead before the team returns to Jamaica.

In an exclusive statement to Prism Marketing Consultants, Managing Director and co-host Orane “Naro” Hart shared, “This is just another step in the execution of our broader vision for the platform, and so far everything is on course. I’m not at liberty to divulge too much presently, but for now, I can say things are on a positive path.”

This international rollout comes as The FIX rides a wave of recognition at home and abroad. The team recently secured a nomination for Podcasting Excellence in the Caribbean Diaspora (Music, History, Entrepreneurship, Culture) at the upcoming Island Icons Honours NYC 2025, set for November 6 in Brooklyn, New York. The event celebrates Caribbean innovators reshaping global culture, and The FIX’s nod underscores its growing influence beyond Jamaica.

The nomination follows The FIX’s celebrated MECA Award win for Podcast of the Year in February — its first victory after three consecutive nominations. It capped off a defining year for the team, with record-breaking content, viral milestones, and landmark partnerships solidifying their dominance in Caribbean digital media.

As their London edition prepares for release across YouTube and major streaming platforms, one thing is clear — The FIX isn’t just documenting dancehall culture anymore; they’re exporting it.
