The legendary Third World band, Romeich Major, and producer Jahvy Ambassador are among those reacting tothe Reggae Boyz’ 1-0 victory over New Caledonia.

Third World shared their excitement on social media using a string of emojis, while Jahvy, who also manages artiste 450, offered a more measured response. “Nu care weh nobody say. Grateful fi the win, but we only won because the other team was really poor. Focus Tuesday,” he wrote.

Romeich of Romeich Entertainment in his IG story said, “A can’t this coach want we go World Cup!!! Oh well politics again!!!”

Wrexham striker Bailey-Tye Cadamarteri scored the goal in the 18th minute to secure the win for Jamaica yesterday (March 26, 2026).

Wrexham Football Club, where Cadamarteri plays, is co-owned by Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.

The victory advances the Reggae Boyz to face DR Congo on March 31. A win in that crucial matchup would secure Jamaica’s place in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, marking their first appearance since 1998.
