OLYMPIC champion Elaine Thompson Herah limped off the track after finishing at the back of the field in the women's 100 metres at today's New York City Grand Prix.
Thompson Herah clocked 11.48 seconds after she eased up about 10 metres from the finish line and was seen taking off her running shoes a few metres behind the finish line.
The race was won by Nigeria's Favour Ofili in a season's best 11.18 from Americans Morolake Akinosun (11.20) and Aleia Hobbs (11.21).
