Thousands of Free Books to Be Given Away at Tek Time fi Read Festival

Thousands of free books will be up for grabs when the 2026 Tek Time fi Read Book Festival returns to Belmopan next month. The family event will offer books for children and teenagers, along with games, a book exchange and a chance to dress as a favorite storybook character. The festival takes place on Saturday, August 8, from nine in the morning to three in the afternoon at the Belmopan Civic Centre. Organisers say the goal is simple: to help more young Belizeans discover a love for reading. Zayna Augustine reports.
