Three National Champs Listed for Monaco Diamond League

Three National champions, Megan Tapper, Jordan Scott and Nickisha Pryce are listed to compete in Monaco, the 10th stop on the Wanda Diamond League Circuit, on Friday.

Tapper will run in the 100-metres hurdles.

Strong competition is expected from the American trio of Alia Armstrong, olympic champion and world leader Masai Russell and Grace Starc along with world indoor champion and record holder Devynne Charlton of the Bahamas.

Pryce will face the starter in the women’s 400-metres, where she’ll face the likes of olympic champion and World number one Marileidy Paulino of the Dominican republic and Poland’s Natalia Bukowiecka .

Scott the Diamond League leader, will line up in the men’s triple jump where he’ll go up against Andy Diaz of Italy, Fabrice Zango of Burkino Faso and Germany’s Max Heb.

Andrenette Knight is entered in the women’s 400-metres hurdles while Romaine Beckford and Raymond Richards are in the men’s high jump
